Overview

World Patches is a live e-commerce venture for location-specific travel patches. The product surface is simple: a customer finds a place, adds one or more patches to the cart, checks out, and receives a made-to-order physical product.

The engineering work sits underneath that surface. Each product needs a location brief, a visual recommendation, a constrained image-generation prompt, a manufacturing-safe artwork file, store-ready product imagery, geographic metadata, product copy, pricing, checkout, shipping quotes, and fulfillment. World Patches connects those pieces into one operating loop.

World Patches connects AI product generation to automated e-commerce fulfillment.

What The Project Proves

  • Location-to-product generation. A location can become a patch concept with a named landmark, regional label, coordinate, category, product copy, and store listing.
  • Manufacturing-aware prompting. The image-generation workflow is constrained around patch size, safe content zones, bleed, legibility, and repeatable template behavior.
  • Two-artifact output. Each patch has a storefront image for customers and a manufacturing image for the print partner.
  • Automated commerce. The checkout flow sends cart contents, quantities, shipping details, and product metadata through Stripe.
  • Direct fulfillment. Completed checkouts create print-on-demand orders with the correct SKU, customer address, quantity, and artwork URL.
  • Map-led discovery. The storefront treats the catalog as a geographic surface, not only a grid of products.

Commercial Surface

World Patches is positioned as a scalable travel-souvenir catalog. The same system can support landmarks, cities, national parks, ski towns, UNESCO sites, events, expeditions, and other location-linked collections, provided the product queue is gated by quality review, legal review, and customer-support reality.

The public store is live at world-patches.com.
